Lana Violet's husband is a well-known politician in serious trouble, and Lana will do anything to understand what really happened. She tracks down Marica Hase, a consulate worker who saw something she should not have, and shows up at her door to hear her side.
Marica makes it clear that nothing Lana says or does will change what she tells the court. Lana accepts that, but the two keep talking, and the attraction between them is impossible to miss.
